Taylor Hobson is seeking a Specialista Senior / Project Manager to install, service and troubleshoot high-precision roundness and surface finish instruments within a dedicated territory. You will diagnose issues, provide remote assistance where possible, and collaborate with internal teams, distributors, and customers.

The role blends hands-on engineering with customer interaction and continuous improvement, requiring autonomous work and willingness to travel.

Competenze

• Mechanical or multi-disciplinary engineering background.
• Experience in a technical customer-facing role preferred.
• Willingness to travel internationally and drive.
• Proficient reading of schematics and wiring diagrams.

Mansioni

• Install, service and troubleshoot high-precision roundness and surface finish instruments in the field.
• Provide remote pre-qualification and remote fixes where feasible.
• Act as primary contact for customers and distributors; document issues and report findings.

Specialista Senior / Project Manager

In this role you will install, service, and troubleshoot high-precision roundness and surface finish instruments within a dedicated territory. You will work autonomously while collaborating with colleagues and supporting local distributors, delivering world-class service to customers. You’ll diagnose issues, provide remote assistance when possible, and document technical findings. The position blends hands-on engineering with customer interaction, training, and opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement.

• Install, maintain, and diagnose roundness and surface finish measuring instruments in the field
• Provide remote pre-qualification and remote fixes where feasible
• Serve as the primary contact for customer issues and technical inquiries
• Document and report technical issues; feed insights to internal teams
• Provide training to customers and local distributors as needed
• Identify opportunities for service improvements and report findings
• Operate within a territory with autonomy while representing Taylor Hobson at customer sites
• Collaborate with internal teams (technical support, manufacturing, R&D) and other regions as required
• Mechanical, electrical, or multi-disciplined engineering background
• Ability to read schematics, drawings, and wiring diagrams
• Experience in a technical customer-facing role preferred; recent graduates welcome
• Ability to interact with and provide feedback to internal stakeholders
• Valid and clean driving license
• Ability to work alone and flexible hours; available for international travel
• English communication skills (written and spoken)
