Job summary

Sangfor Technologies Italy invites applications for a Field Applications Engineer intern position. The role offers on-site and remote support to customers during POC and after-sales inquiries, with opportunities to install, integrate, and train clients across both domestic and international projects.

The internship targets fresh graduates or final-year students pursuing Engineering, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related fields, with strong Italian (C1+) and English (B2+) communication,

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for customers during POC or after-sales inquiries.
• Track, maintain and resolve incidents; report to the customer.
• Install devices and integrate into customer environments.
• Provide technical training for partners and/or customers.
• Escalate to RND to resolve product issues.
• Create technical documentation for projects or internal knowledge base.
• Engage in both domestic and international projects.

Field Applications Engineer (FAE) Intern responsibilities

1. 1. On-site and remote technical support for customers to resolve issues in POC or after-sales inquiries.
2. 2. Track, maintain and resolve incidents as well as provide the report to the customer
3. 3. Perform device installation and integration into the customer environment
4. 4. Provide technical training for Partners and/or customers
5. 5. Escalation to RND to resolve the product issue
6. 6. Create technical documentation for the project and/or internal knowledge base
7. 7. Engage in both domestic and international projects

Requirements:

1. Fresh graduates/final year students currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Cyber Security, Computer science, information systems or related field.
2. Positive and professional working attitude, ability to work under minimum supervision. Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
3. Communication skills in italiano (C1 or above) and English (B2 or above), please do evaluate this requirement before you apply, because you may need communicate with local italiano clients.
4. Self-motivated to take responsibilities, have enthusiasm for learning
