Huawei Italy offers a Graduate Program for a Junior IT Engineer (Extra-curricular Intern) in Milan. This intensive 6-month on-site internship develops IT infrastructure skills across Storage, Servers, Cloud, and Virtualization, with a direct offer to a full-time role on successful completion.

You’ll work alongside experts, gain hands-on experience, and benefit from mentorship, structured training, and exposure to enterprise deployments in a dynamic international team.

About The Role & Program

Kickstart your career with Huawei Italy’s Graduate Program. This intensive 6-month internship is designed to develop the next generation of ICT leaders. You will work alongside industry experts, gain hands‑on experience in IT infrastructure technologies (Storage, Servers, Cloud & Virtualization), and transition directly into a full-time role upon successful completion.

Main Responsibilities

• Solution Delivery: Plan, design, and implement B2B delivery solutions for IT domain products (Storage, Servers, Virtualization, and Cloud Infrastructure).
• Deployment & Integration: Install, configure, commission, and integrate high-performance IT hardware and enterprise software solutions.
• System Optimization: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fine‑tune IT infrastructure systems to maximize performance, data availability, and stability.
• Technical Support & Client Engagement: Collaborate with customer-facing teams to resolve technical issues, support enterprise project rollouts, and drive technology adoption.

Requirements

• Fresh Graduate or Current Student enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. The graduation date should ideally be approximately 6-12 months before or after the internship start date.
• Technical Passion: Strong foundational knowledge of network architecture and mobile domain technologies.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and high emotional intelligence for international team environments.
• Languages: Fluency in Italian (written and spoken) and professional working proficiency in English.
• Work Authorization: Must hold valid authorization to live and work in Italy.
