Future Electronics is seeking a Field Application Engineer to join our Advanced Engineering team in Bologna, Italy. You will provide Applications and Design Solutions as a technical advisor to customers and partners.

You should have a degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, at least five years of design experience, and excellent English and Italian communication skills to succeed in a fast-paced, global environment.

What the role involves:

• Provide Applications and Design Solutions as a Technical Advisor to the assigned customer base in Switzerland


• Responsible for solving customer problems and product challenges through appropriate positioning and presentation of products


• Identification of opportunities and provision of appropriate technical solutions through frequent customer visits.


• Close collaboration and exchange with our Suppliers as well as internally with the Sales Team


• Demonstration and Design-In of the product line


• Definition and management of customer-specific workshops and company-hosted tech days

Do you have:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Italian


• Degree in Electronics, Electrical engineering or a comparable field of study


• Minimum of five years design experience either in the field or with an electronics company


• Ability to multitask, prioritise and work under pressure


• Proactive and results-driven approach
