Custodi, part of the Our Common Home network, seeks an Executive Director to lead strategy, partnerships, and growth in Italy. You will build the organisation from the ground up, engage with communities, and foster collaborations across sectors.

The role demands political awareness, leadership experience, and a track record in fundraising, with native Italian and strong English skills. Flexible remote work within Italy is available.

Competenze

• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to build initiatives from the ground up.
• Strong political and societal awareness of Italy's landscape.
• Demonstrated leadership in teams or organisations.
• Experience designing initiatives that mobilise communities or influence public debate.
• Ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders including funders.
• Native Italian; strong working English skills.

Mansioni

• Define and implement Custodi’s strategic direction aligned with the OCH network.
• Identify opportunities for initiatives and partnerships locally and nationally.
• Recruit, mentor and lead a growing team and shape governance.
• Build trusted partnerships with community leaders and institutions across Italy.
• Lead fundraising with foundations, donors, and institutional partners.
• Represent Custodi in public discussions, events and media.
• Oversee financial, operational and people-related processes and governance.
