Bocconi University is seeking an administrative and events coordinator to join the Events & Protocol Office in Milan. You will provide administrative, organizational, and operational support across the team’s activities, combining event coordination with office administration and budget monitoring.

You will manage hosts/hostesses, coordinate suppliers, and help plan and deliver events from preparation to post-event follow-up, ensuring compliance with the University’s standards.

Competenze

  • University degree is required.
  • Up to one year of experience in event org or related areas.
  • Experience outside Italy (≥6 months) is preferred.
  • Fluency in Italian and English.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Familiarity with SAP and event platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities with deadlines.
  • Attention to detail in budgets, data, and admin processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, suppliers, and staff.
  • Proactive, flexible, service-oriented, hands-on.
  • Available to provide operational support during events.

Mansioni

  • Managing the Events & Protocol Office’s activities through the University’s dedicated Event System.
  • Supporting the organization of concerts and other cultural initiatives.
  • Contributing to the organization of meetings, experiences, ceremonies, donor tours, inaugurations, and other stakeholder events.
  • Providing organizational and back-office support throughout all event phases.

Job Description

The successful candidate will join the Events & Protocol Office and provide administrative, organizational, and operational support across the team’s activities.



The successful candidate will join the Events & Protocol Office and provide administrative, organizational, and operational support across the team’s activities. The role combines event coordination with office administration, budget monitoring, reporting, supplier management, and the coordination of hosts and hostesses. The successful candidate will contribute to the organization of Bocconi events throughout their entire lifecycle, from initial planning and preparation to on-site delivery and post-event follow-up, ensuring that all activities meet the University’s organizational and institutional standards.



Main Activities

The successful candidate will be involved in the following activities:



  • Supporting the administrative management of the Events & Protocol Office, including budget monitoring and the use of SAP;

  • managing office records, documentation, archives, and event reporting activities;

  • supporting the selection and coordination of student collaborators engaged as hosts and hostesses;

  • managing communications with the event support staff through dedicated platforms and communication channels;

Requirements


  • University degree;

  • up to one year of professional experience, preferably in event organization, event operations, protocol, or related areas;

  • previous study, work, or life experience outside Italy (at least 6 months);

  • fluency in Italian and English;

  • strong command of Microsoft Office;

  • familiarity with SAP and event management platforms is considered a plus;

  • strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines;

  • accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when managing budgets, data, and administrative processes;

  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

  • ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and event staff;

  • proactive, flexible, service-oriented, and hands-on approach;

  • availability to provide operational support during events when required.



What We Offer

Gross annual salary starting from €33.000. The final compensation package will be defined based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and overall professional background, in line with the University’s fair, transparent, and non-discriminatory compensation principles.
