Zusammenfassung

The Europa Experience Centre in Rome, Italy, is seeking an Event and Audio-Visual Technician who combines hands-on technical skills with an interest in the EU. You will set up and operate AV equipment for events, run hybrid meetings and live streams, record audio and video, and support speakers and organizers.

In addition to technical duties, you will welcome visitors, present the exhibition, and run Role Play Game sessions when there are no events.

Qualifikationen

• . Completed university degree.
• . Very good knowledge of the EU, its institutions and current affairs.
• . Italian at C2 level and English at minimum B2 level.
• . Practical experience with AV equipment, hybrid meetings and live streaming.
• . Problem‑solving attitude and calm under pressure during live events.
• . Flexibility to work shifts, including occasional evening or early‑morning events.
• . Experience as an AV technician at conferences, venues or institutions is an advantage.
• . Experience with visitors or school groups is an advantage.
• . Knowledge of other EU languages, in particular French, German or Spanish, is an advantage.
• . A valid first‑aid certificate is an advantage.

We are looking for an Event and Audio-Visual Technician who combines hands‑on technical skills with an interest in the EU.

The Europa Experience Centre in Rome Italy, serves as an educational hub and a platform for engaging with the EU, offering visitors a unique experience to understand the EU’s history, institutions, and role in shaping a common European future. Key attractions within the Centre include an interactive exhibition space equipped with multimedia stations, a 360° cinema that showcases Europe’s journey and its future, and a Role Play Game. This game allows participants to simulate the roles of Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) in a hands‑on learning experience.

You will:
