Alpitronic in Bolzano, Italy, seeks a Team Manager for the Charging Functions Software team to drive the development and evolution of charging functions and firmware across the Hypercharger portfolio. You will lead a team of experts, define the technical roadmap, and ensure the successful delivery of innovative and reliable charging solutions.

Competenze
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
- Professional experience in embedded software and firmware development using C/C++.
- Good knowledge of EV charging standards and communication protocols (IEC 61851, ISO 15118).
- Experience with agile methodologies and structured software development lifecycles.
- Strong understanding of complex organisational structures and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proven experience in leading or acting as a technical reference for engineering teams.
- Strong people leadership, coaching and mentoring skills, combined with empathy and emotional intelligence.
- Excellent decision-making abilities and a passion for innovation.
- Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Fluent in English, Italian and/or German is considered a plus

- Strengthen and further develop the organisation of the Charging Functions Software team.
- Lead internal and external resources to ensure the right balance between operational control and effective delegation.
- Manage hiring activities, employee development, training, coaching and mentoring.
- Define, develop and monitor the technical product roadmap for charging functions and firmware, aligning it with the overall product strategy.
- Align regulatory, standardisation and customer requirements with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and drive continuous improvements in processes, methodologies and development practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to address technical enquiries and resolve issues in the field.
- Support technical decision-making and contribute to strategic product development initiatives.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in the development of embedded software and firmware.
