Alpitronic Americas LLC is seeking a Manager of the Charging Functions Software team to lead the development of charging functions and firmware across the Hypercharger portfolio. You will guide a team of experts, set the technical roadmap, and coordinate with Product Management, Systems Engineering, Hardware and Quality to deliver reliable charging solutions.

Competenze

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Professional experience in embedded software and firmware development using C/C++.
• Good knowledge of EV charging standards and communication protocols.
• Experience with agile methodologies and structured software development lifecycles.
• Strong understanding of complex organisational structures and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven experience in leading or acting as a technical reference for engineering teams.
• Strong people leadership, coaching and mentoring skills, combined with empathy and emotional intelligence.
• Excellent decision-making abilities and a passion for innovation.
• Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.

As Manager of the Charging Functions Software team, your main goal will be to drive the development and evolution of charging functions and firmware across Alpitronic’s Hypercharger product portfolio. In this role, you will lead and grow a team of experts, define the technical roadmap, and ensure the successful delivery of innovative and reliable charging solutions. You will coordinate closely with Product Management, System Engineering, Hardware and Quality teams to align product requirements, technical developments, and customer expectations. Your responsibilities also include fostering technical excellence, optimizing development processes, and supporting the long-term growth of both the team and the technology.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strengthen and further develop the organisation of the Charging Functions Softwareteam
• Lead internal and external resources to ensure the right balance between operational control and effective delegation

• Total compensation: € 74.000-€ 110.000 including 30% variable bonus based on goal achievement

The compensation range provided is based on the current scope and location of the role. Should the position's responsibilities, seniority level, or location differ during the recruitment process, the applicable compensation range may be adjusted accordingly, in line with local market conditions and internal compensation frameworks.
