Job summary

Alpitronic Americas is seeking a service technician to execute diagnostic, maintenance, and repair tasks on hyperchargers. You will work both independently and with a team to maximize efficiency, documenting repairs clearly and providing feedback to remote service and development teams to improve procedures and products.

You will coordinate service interventions with the service coordinator. Candidates should have technical training or electrical engineering experience, low-voltage electrician

Qualifications

• Technical training/certificate or work experiences in electrical engineering or ability to learn new technologies.
• Experience as an electrician in the low-voltage range (up to 1,000 V).
• 2+ years in a support role in the eMobility/EV Charging industry.
• Basic software and diagnostic skills.
• Full stack knowledge of IT infrastructure (hardware, software, network & telecommunication).
• Confident handling of MS Office programs (Windows, Excel, Word).
• Understanding of customer needs and requirements.
• Strong communicator capable of professional interactions in high-pressure environments.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime on short notice.
• Ability to lift 75lbs and use ladders; standing/walking for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Execute basic and advanced diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work on hyperchargers (commissioning, periodical interventions).
• Work independently and as a team to maximize repair efficiency.
• Detail and document repairs concisely.
• Provide feedback to remote service and development teams to improve procedures and products.
• Organize service interventions in the respective area in agreement with the service coordinator.
