Job summary

Lubrizol is seeking an Account Manager for Performance Coatings Europe. You will manage and grow relationships with customers across Europe, targeting construction, ceramics, labels, paper and packaging with a diversified portfolio of hyper-dispersants, resins, polymers and waxes.

You will develop strategic account plans, collaborate with technical and R&D teams, deliver accurate forecasts, and lead pricing and contract negotiations to create sustainable value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years B2B account management or sales experience in coatings or specialty chemicals.
• Fluency in English with strong communication across Europe.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Travel approximately 60% across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Manage and expand relationships with European customers across multiple end-use markets.
• Identify and convert opportunities to grow existing accounts through cross-selling and new applications.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans for key customers.
• Collaborate with technical and R&D teams to tailor solutions for customer needs.
• Monitor market trends and inform commercial priorities and product development.
• Lead pricing, contract, and service negotiations to create value for customers and Lubrizol.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and report key metrics to senior management.
• Coordinate with marketing, product development, supply chain and other internal teams to ensure delivery of products and services.
