Solenis is seeking a Technical Project Engineer to support the European Equipment Sales strategy for the South Europe region. This hybrid role is based in North Italy with regular travel and a path from concept to commissioning.

Competenze

• A degree in Technical Engineering with water process selection, design, and implementation experience.
• 1–2 years of Electrical and Automation experience is desirable.
• Mechanical Engineers with 2–4 years in water treatment will also be considered.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, electrical components, and material compatibility.
• Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory.

Mansioni

• Support the Engineering team from early project opportunities, clarifying scope and defining optimal technical solutions.
• Conduct onsite surveys, basic design, and system conception, balancing CAPEX and OPEX.
• Define project schedules, execution timelines, and staffing needs.
• Prepare technical specifications and procedures with Engineering, supporting Procurement during supplier selection and PO issuance.
• Monitor work in progress and coordinate with internal/external Engineering/Service teams.
• Inspect construction sites to verify design compliance and correct installation.
• Lead installation, start-up, commissioning, and final performance sign-off.
• Provide technical assistance on OEM contracts and troubleshoot as needed.
• Manage subcontractor relationships and align with project standards.
