Tecnimont, MAIRE’s flagship for Integrated E&C, seeks a Construction Subcontracts Manager to lead subcontracting activities across projects in Italy. You will manage tendering, bid evaluation, and contract negotiations with subcontractors, coordinating with Engineering, Procurement, and Legal to ensure compliant, winning outcomes.

The role requires 8+ years in subcontracting within EPC contexts, a civil or mechanical engineering background, and fluent English.

Competenze

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (or technical diploma with relevant experience).
• Proven experience (at least 8 years) in construction subcontracting management, preferably within EPC companies.
• Strong knowledge of subcontracting processes, including tendering, bid evaluation, negotiation, and contract management.
• Good understanding of project technical documentation (specifications, drawings, schedules, budgets).
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
• Strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Mansioni

• Ensuring effective management of all subcontracting activities related to construction, in compliance with procedures.
• Preparing and issuing Subcontracting Strategy, Plan, and Bidder Lists.
• Coordinating verification of technical and commercial documentation for alignment with subcontracting documents.
• Managing the full tendering process towards subcontractors and tracking status.
• Coordinating bid evaluation and consolidating feedback from relevant functions.
• Leading economic and commercial negotiation phases with subcontractors.
• Supervising subcontract issuance and ensuring proper workflow and distribution.
• Maintaining a structured database of subcontract data for future projects.
• Supporting resolution of claims and clarifications with Contract Management.
• Collaborating with proposal and construction teams during estimating and pre-award negotiations.
