METLEN Energy & Metals in Milan is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to join our EPC business and drive procurement and logistics for large-scale renewable energy projects.

You will source materials, manage supplier performance, and coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Finance and Legal to meet safety, schedule and budget goals.

An engineering or economics background with 4–6 years of EPC experience, strong negotiation skills, and fluency in Italian and English are essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or related.
• 4–6 years procurement/logistics/supply chain experience in EPC, construction, energy sectors.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, logistics coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced projects.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• ERP systems proficiency, preferably SAP.
• Excellent communication in Italian and English.

Mansioni

• Manage EPC procurement activities for renewable energy projects, aligned with budgets and schedules.
• Lead supplier engagement: RFQs, quotations, evaluations, and contract execution.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery commitments, and compliance.
• Serve as main procurement partner to Project Directors/Managers, report risks and mitigations.
• Coordinate procurement with Engineering, Construction, Finance, Quality, Legal, and central procurement.
• Oversee logistics and material deliveries to sites, ensuring timely flow.
• Support EPC tendering with supplier sourcing and market intelligence.
• Maintain procurement docs and reporting per governance standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and mitigate risks.
