Job summary

TeamSystem S.p.A. in Lombardia seeks a senior software engineering leader to drive technical strategy and scale the engineering organization.

You will coach engineers, partner with Product Managers to align priorities, drive architecture decisions, and ensure high-quality, AI-enabled, cloud-native delivery across platforms in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of software engineering experience with leadership of engineering teams.
• Strong background in software development and technical leadership.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies and distributed systems.
• Advanced English (C1) proficiency.

• Lead, coach and grow a team of software engineers.
• Partner with Product Managers to define priorities and delivery plans aligned with business and organizational objectives.
• Drive the successful execution of engineering initiatives, removing blockers, managing risks and ensuring high-quality outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with product vision, customer needs and business goals.

In particular, you will:

What skills are we looking for?

• At least 10 years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of leading engineering teams and delivering complex technology initiatives.
• Strong software development background and the ability to provide technical leadership across architecture, platform and product evolution.
• Solid experience with cloud-native technologies, distributed systems and modern software delivery practices.
• Broad exposure to software development, data and infrastructure technologies, enabling effective collaboration with engineering teams across different domains.
• Demonstrated ability to align engineering execution with product strategy, business goals and organizational priorities.
• Experience working in a product-centric environment and building scalable digital products will be considered a strong plus.
• Proven ability to evaluate and adopt AI-powered tools and practices to improve engineering effectiveness, team productivity and software delivery outcomes.
• Advanced proficiency in English (C1 level).

• Total compensation: € 57.000 – € 78.000 Including a variable component linked to performance. Full-time reference.
