The Construction Manager will play a key role in supporting the development, tendering and execution of energy and infrastructure projects across the EMEA region. Based in Italy with travel across the region, this role bridges technical, commercial, procurement and execution teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Located in Milan with hybrid remote/work, the successful candidate will lead GCO tendering, manage contracts, assess risks, and drive continuous

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management on energy or electrical projects.
• Strong knowledge of international standards, EPC contracts and safety risk management.

Mansioni

• Scout, evaluate and manage construction and general contractors (GCOs) in collaboration with Procurement, Business Development and Techsales teams.
• Lead and coordinate GCO tendering processes, including preparation and management of subcontractor tender packages.
• Prepare, review and validate technical, commercial and contractual documentation.
• Estimate construction and installation budgets and support evaluations during bidding phases.
• Identify, assess and mitigate construction-related risks during tendering and execution.
• Prepare technical evaluation analyses aligned with contracts, minimizing deviations and risks.
• Support contract negotiation with GCOs and customers with Legal, Procurement and Commercial teams.
• Conduct site visits, surveys and preliminary construction activities during tendering.
• Define construction and installation schedules, integrating contractor inputs with the master schedule.
• Ensure smooth handover from tendering to execution and assist Project/ Site Managers during execution.
• Coordinate remotely with Site Managers and act as on-site Site Manager when required.
• Drive continuous improvement of construction management processes and reporting.
• Ensure integration of HSE procedures and promote safety culture across contractors.
• Provide regular updates and reports to internal teams, clients and third parties.
