Job summary

Berlin Packaging EMEA seeks a Senior ESG Governance & Reporting Lead to strengthen ESG governance, sustainability reporting and performance management across the EMEA region.

You will coordinate CSRD and ESRS readiness, data governance, and audit readiness, translating regulatory requirements into clear governance, reliable data and actionable plans. Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Procurement, HR and QHSE to support executive reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in ESG governance and sustainability reporting.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional programs in international environments.
• Knowledge of CSRD, ESRS and EU Taxonomy is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ESG governance and sustainability reporting across EMEA, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities and reporting requirements.
• Lead CSRD and ESRS readiness, data collection, gap analysis, action planning and documentation.
• Define and maintain ESG reporting governance, data ownership, validation steps and calendars.
• Ensure consistency and traceability of sustainability information across entities and reporting cycles.
• Coordinate EU Taxonomy eligibility and alignment activities with Finance and stakeholders.
• Prepare sustainability disclosures and internal/external reporting outputs in collaboration with contributors.
