Job summary

Berlin Packaging seeks a Senior ESG Governance & Reporting Lead to strengthen ESG governance and sustainability reporting across the EMEA region. You will coordinate CSRD/ESRS readiness, data governance, and audit readiness, collaborating with Finance, Legal, Procurement, HR, QHSE and other teams to ensure reliable data, measurable targets, and actionable plans.

The role requires translating regulatory requirements into governance structures, defining KPIs, and supporting external assurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field.
• 5–7 years in sustainability reporting or ESG governance.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional reporting in an international environment.
• Hands-on with ESG data collection, consolidation, validation and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead ESG governance and sustainability reporting across EMEA.
• Coordinate CSRD and ESRS readiness and implementation activities.
• Define and maintain ESG reporting governance, including data ownership and validation steps.
• Ensure consistency and transparency of sustainability information across EMEA.
• Coordinate EU Taxonomy eligibility and alignment assessment activities.
• Prepare sustainability disclosures and reporting outputs with contributors.
