Job summary

EDAG Group is seeking an Embedded Software Developer to design, implement, test and optimize embedded software for automotive, industrial and medical devices. You will work across the full software lifecycle from requirements to integration, in close collaboration with hardware engineers to meet performance constraints.

Proficiency in C and C++, experience with BuildRoot/Yocto or RTOS like FreeRTOS/Zephyr is required, plus a strong grasp of real-time concepts and debugging.

Qualifications

• Proven programming skills in C and C++ and embedded software architecture knowledge.
• Experience with embedded programming for Linux (BuildRoot, Yocto) or RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr).
• Familiarity with multitasking operating systems, real-time concepts and synchronization.
• Ability to understand how electronic features affect low-level software.
• Model Based Design experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test embedded software for automotive and industrial systems.
• Participate in full software lifecycle from requirements to validation.
• Collaborate with Hardware Engineers to optimize software within hardware constraints.
• Troubleshoot and improve software reliability and maintainability.
