Doble Engineering in Lombardy, Italy is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer to design, integrate and maintain firmware on Linux-based platforms. You will contribute across the full product lifecycle from requirements to validation, working closely with hardware and software teams.

The role requires strong C/C++ skills, experience with embedded Linux (Yocto/Buildroot), and a solid understanding of devices, drivers, and debugging tools such as GDB/JTAG. Hybrid collaboration encouraged.

Competenze

• Degree in Electronic or Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of C and C++, with good C++ knowledge.
• Experience in Embedded Linux development (Yocto, Buildroot).
• Ability to configure Linux kernel, device trees and drivers.

Mansioni

• Develop, debug, and maintain embedded firmware on ARM or similar.
• Develop and optimize software in C/C++ within embedded Linux.
• Configure, compile the Linux kernel, device trees, and drivers.
• Implement user-space services and apps on embedded Linux.
• Collaborate with hardware team to define specs and integrate new features.
• Analyze and resolve performance, stability, and compatibility issues.
