Job summary

EDAG Italia is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer with real hands-on experience of Vector’s MICROSAR to work on automotive ECU software. You will configure AUTOSAR, integrate Simulink-generated application code with hand-written firmware, and ensure reliable operation on target hardware.

You will develop embedded C software, support integration and bring-up on multicore microcontrollers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust platform software.

Qualifications

5+ years in embedded systems or equivalent
Strong C programming with firmware development
Experience configuring AUTOSAR with Vector MICROSAR
Model-Based Design workflow experience
Ability to read schematics and understand hardware interactions

Responsibilities

Configure and maintain the AUTOSAR stack using the Vector MICROSAR toolchain, including OS-level and basic software configuration.
Develop and maintain embedded C software for automotive applications.
Integrate Model-Based Design output: merge auto-generated code from MATLAB/Simulink with hand-written firmware into one coherent image.
Support integration, debugging and bring-up on target hardware, including multicore microcontrollers, collaborating with other engineering teams
