Leica Microsystems is seeking an Advanced Workflow Specialist – Electron Microscopy Sample Preparation to support pre-sales and post-sales activities, delivering demonstrations and trainings in EM sample prep across the EMEA region.

The role is remote with regular travel (40–50%) and preference for Milan-area base to serve customers efficiently. A MSc/PhD in Life Sciences or Materials Science is required, with strong English and CRM experience.

Competenze

• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Life Sciences, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Hands-on EM sample prep experience (cryo-EM, CLEM, ultramicrotomy, coating, freeze-fracture).
• Willingness to travel across the EMEA region.
• Proficiency in English; additional European languages (German) are a plus.

Mansioni

• Deliver pre-sales and post-sales application support, including on-site and virtual demonstrations, trainings, and workflow optimization.
• Plan, execute, and support customer workshops on electron microscopy sample preparation workflows.
• Contribute to marketing content, success stories, and reference workflows for the commercial team.
• Ensure accurate documentation of activities in CRM systems (e.g., SFDC).
