Leica Microsystems seeks an Advanced Workflow Specialist for Electron Microscopy Sample Preparation, primarily remote with substantial travel across the EMEA region. The successful candidate will support pre‑ and post‑sales activities, demonstrations, trainings, and workflow optimization for EM sample prep solutions.
An MSc or PhD in Life Sciences or related field is required, along with hands-on EM prep experience and fluency in English.

The role is remote, with regular 40-50% travel across the EMEA region.
We would like the successful candidate to be based in the Milan area due to the high concentration of our customers in the region and Milan's excellent international connectivity through its airports, enabling efficient travel across Europe.
Base salary and level of employment
This role is classified under the applicable CCNL Commercio as second‑level employee, which defines minimum terms, job classification, and baseline progression frameworks. The expected gross annual salary range for this role is €49 000–€63 000, determined based on objective criteria such as experience, skills, and role‑related competencies.
Bonus / Incentive Pay
This job is also eligible for bonus / incentive pay. This is the target earnings as 20% of base annual salary, subject to objective eligibility criteria and performance conditions as set out in the applicable scheme terms and conditions.
