Leica Microsystems seeks an Advanced Workflow Specialist – Electron Microscopy Sample Preparation (d/f/m) to join the EMEA Business Development team. The role is remote with regular 40–50% travel across the EMEA region, and candidates in the Milan area are preferred to support local customers.

You will provide pre-sales and post-sales application support, on-site and virtual demonstrations, trainings, and workflow optimization for EM sample preparation.

Competenze

• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Life Sciences, Materials Science, or related discipline.
• Hands-on EM sample preparation experience (e.g., cryo-EM workflows, CLEM workflows, ultramicrotomy, coating, freeze-fracture).
• Willingness to travel frequently across the EMEA region.
• Proficiency in English; other European languages (German) a plus.

Mansioni

• Deliver pre-sales and post-sales application support, including on-site and virtual demonstrations, trainings, and workflow optimization.
• Plan, execute, and support customer workshops, seminars, and advanced application sessions for EM sample preparation workflows.
• Support marketing with scientific content for webinars, conferences, and promotional materials.
• Develop and contribute to application data, success stories, and reference workflows for the commercial team.
• Ensure accurate documentation of activities in CRM systems (SFDC).
