Atlas Copco is seeking an Electronics Commodity Lead & Supplier Development Engineer to drive the electronics sourcing strategy and build a resilient supplier base. You will work with R&D, Industrialization, Quality, Production and Supply Chain to ensure supplier readiness, cost competitiveness, and component availability for new product introductions and evolving electronics-driven portfolios.

You will report to the Sourcing Manager and lead supplier performance reviews, lifecycle management

Competenze

• Degree in electronics or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years in electronics sourcing, supplier development or procurement in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of electronic components, PCB assemblies and EMS.
• Experience with NPIs, industrialization and supplier qualification activities.

Mansioni

• Define and implement sourcing strategies for Electronics.
• Develop suppliers for electronic components, PCB assemblies and EMS providers.
• Drive supplier development focusing on quality, capacity, and delivery performance.
• Support new product introductions with supplier readiness and availability.
• Collaborate with R&D, Industrialization and Quality to assess solutions and capabilities.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities through should-cost analysis and VE.
• Lead supplier performance reviews and development plans for key vendors.
• Monitor lifecycle management, including EOL and alternative sourcing.
• Analyze sourcing data and provide actionable optimization recommendations.
• Support digitalization and continuous improvement in Sourcing.
