BYD EUROPE is seeking a Customer Project Manager/Engineer for the Italian market to support the Customer Program Manager in overseeing projects from inception to delivery. The role involves frequent travel within Italy and to production sites, with remote work flexibility possible.

You will coordinate technical requirements, ensure accurate information exchange, and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal BYD teams.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in technical areas (preferable electrical, electronic engineering or relevant background).
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in international environment in technical project management areas.
• Solid knowledge of automotive, preferably e-Bus market.
• Experience with high voltage systems and onboard vehicle technologies.

Mansioni

• Act as first contact window for customers assigned, stationed overseas.
• Visit customers regularly to understand needs and follow up demands until closing.
• Ensure correct project information exchange during product development from bus config to delivery.
• Lead technical communication to ensure collection of customer requirements until design review completion.
• Promote communication and material follow-up of customer-specified or customer-supplied products.
• Organize and plan customer satisfaction surveys and follow-up on order delivery.
• Handle quality and material problems feedback by the body builder and production progress.
• Plan Overseas Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) and act as BYD reference during final delivery with customers and partners.
• Collect and distribute major customer complaints for internal resolution.
• Lead project from order to delivery through multiple production stages (Design Review, FAT, PDI, Final Delivery).
• Support all projects assigned by Customer Program Manager in the Italian Market.
