ABB is seeking a technical marketing role in Italy to promote the Electrification portfolio to key technical stakeholders. You will identify opportunities, educate customers on ABB products, and support design choices with strong product knowledge and customer interaction.

The role emphasizes promotional activities, frequent travel within the territory, and collaboration with the Electrification Marketing & Sales team in Italy.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with ease in managing relationships at multiple levels.
• Ability to demonstrate your experience and knowledge in Electrical solutions, products and tools.
• You possess a good knowledge of Electrical Cad, Microsoft Office and AI tools
• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Energy Engineering, or a Technical Diploma
• You are passionate about Innovation, Industrial and Building automation
• You are ease at communicating in Italian and English
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Implementing proactive promotional activities, including technical presentations, demonstrations, seminars, educational material, and technical development of projects and solutions for the customer target group.
• Creating plans for target audience visits and conducting regular status reviews, including analyzing and deriving the insights and output of the visits.
• Establishing and maintaining effective long-term relationships with target group customers to understand their needs and to ensure they are well-informed of the ABB product, systems, services offering, features, and benefits.
• Ensuring efficient marketing activities and strong value proposition to customers by using effective promotional techniques.

This position reports to: EL Technical & Design Promotion Manager

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to promote ABB’s complete Electrification portfolio to key technical stakeholders across Italy.

Each day, you will identify and develop sales opportunities by introducing, presenting, and educating the target audience about ABB products and tools. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, supporting design choices, and promoting ABB’s competitive advantages by combining deep product knowledge with strong customer interaction.

The work model for the role is: This role is contributing to the Electrification Marketing & Sales in Italy.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Compensation Package

As part of our commitment to transparency, we want to share the compensation details for this position:

Applicable CBA: Metalmeccanico

Minimum annual salary: €36.000

Variable Pay: Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus

The offer will be tailored based on your role location, experience, skills and qualifications, internal market positioning and alignment with ABB internal standards.
