BionIT Labs S.r.l. designs cutting-edge MedTech robotics, including Adam’s Hand, integrating advanced robotics with AI for intuitive human-robot interfaces.

We seek a Robotics Specialist to advance perception, planning and control on embedded platforms, with edge AI deployment and ROS2 expertise, in a regulated MedTech environment. You will work across teams to deliver reliable, patient-centered robotic solutions.

Competenze

• 3+ years in robotics software development (embodied AI or autonomous systems preferred).
• Strong proficiency in ROS2, Isaac ROS, C++, Python; hands-on experience with NVIDIA Jetson, CUDA, TensorRT.
• Practical expertise in edge AI deployment, computer vision and signal processing for robotics.
• Experience with robot modeling and simulation: URDF, Gazebo, Isaac Sim / Omniverse for physics-based validation and sim-to-real transfer.
• Knowledge of motion control, kinematics, sensor fusion, real-time embedded Linux.
• Proficiency with Git, CMake, Docker; debugging tools (GDB, Nsight, ROS); familiarity with RS485,BLE, CAN, USB.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Passion for clean, modular code, safety, reliability and user-centered innovation in regulated environments.

Mansioni

• Develop robotic control, motion planning, sensor fusion and closed-loop algorithms in C++/Python for embedded platforms.
• Build and deploy real-time AI perception pipelines (e.G. vision, EMG, inertial, etc.) on NVIDIA Jetson using CUDA, TensorRT and Isaac ROS.
• Design and optimize ROS2-based middleware and communication layers for low-latency sensor-actuator-AI integration.
• Integrate perception-planning-control stacks into the prosthetic system architecture.
• Validate algorithms via simulation (e.G. Isaac Sim, Gazebo) using URDF models, and Hardware-in-the-Loop testing.
• Ensure code quality, unit/integration testing and documentation compliant with MedTech standards (IEC 62304, ISO 13485).
