BionIT Labs S.r.l. seeks a Robotics Specialist to advance our bionic systems with robotics, edge AI and NVIDIA‑accelerated computing. You will design intelligent robotic behaviours and perception pipelines for real-time user interaction with the prosthetic device.

We require strong ROS2, C++, Python skills and edge AI deployment on NVIDIA Jetson, with a passion for safe, reliable innovation in regulated MedTech environments. English and Italian fluency is preferred.

Competenze

• 3+ years in robotics software development (embedded AI or autonomous systems preferred).
• Proficiency in ROS2, Isaac ROS, C++, Python; hands-on experience with NVIDIA Jetson, CUDA, TensorRT.
• Experience with edge AI deployment, computer vision and signal processing for robotics.
• Experience with URDF, Gazebo, Isaac Sim / Omniverse for sim-to-real transfer.
• Knowledge of motion control, kinematics, sensor fusion, real-time embedded Linux.
• Proficiency with Git, CMake, Docker; debugging tools (GDB, Nsight, ROS); familiarity with RS485, BLE, CAN, USB.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Passion for clean, modular code, safety, reliability and user-centered innovation in regulated environments.

Mansioni

• Develop robotic control, motion planning, sensor fusion and closed-loop algorithms for embedded platforms.
• Build and deploy real-time AI perception pipelines on NVIDIA Jetson with CUDA/TensorRT.
• Design ROS2-based middleware and low-latency integration for sensors and actuators.
• Integrate perception-planning-control stacks into the prosthetic system.
• Validate algorithms via simulation (Isaac Sim, Gazebo) using URDF models and HiL testing.
• Ensure code quality with unit/integration tests and IEC 62304/ISO 13485 compliance.
• Collaborate across teams and contribute to R&D on next-gen bionic intelligence.
