TMC in Genova is seeking a software engineer to join a technical team focused on Digital Twin solutions for vehicle software development and validation.

You will autonomously design, implement, and maintain C language software modules on PCs, contribute to architecture, and help evolve virtual simulation environments to anticipate integration and validation activities. Collaboration with engineers and stakeholders is essential.

About this vacancy

The individual will join a technical team dedicated to the development and evolution of Digital Twin solutions supporting vehicle software development and validation. They will contribute autonomously to implementation choices and the improvement of simulation tools, with particular focus on systems for electric mobility.

• Analyze technical and functional requirements of automotive systems to be reproduced in a virtual environment, translating them into software solutions.
• Independently design, develop, and maintain software modules in C language executed on PCs.
• Contribute to defining software architecture and evolving Digital Twin models and virtual simulation environments to anticipate vehicle software integration and validation activities.
• Integrate models, software components, and interfaces to simulate the behavior of automotive systems, including those for electric vehicles.
• Define testing strategies and test cases, perform debugging activities, and analyze results, ensuring code quality, robustness, and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews and propose technical, performance, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with developers, system engineers, and technical stakeholders in integration, troubleshooting, and solution release activities.
