Job summary

Fresenius Medical in Europe seeks a Senior Corporate Development professional to shape growth in the dialysis market. You will identify and execute M&A, JV, and strategic partnership opportunities, leading cross-functional due diligence and value creation initiatives.

Reporting to the HQ Business Development team, you will build financial models, prepare investment proposals, and coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Operations to close transactions and realize synergies across markets.

Qualifications

• Academic degree or equivalent diploma in business management, economics, scientific subjects.
• Functional related post graduate education (PhD, MBA) is a significant benefit
• Strong understanding of the dialysis market, including dialysis products, services, business drivers, and provider business models
• Demonstrated experience in M&A, strategic partnerships, Commercial JV transactions, corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, or a related field
• Knowledge of both local market operations and corporate structures would be an advantage
• Experience in analyzing, communicating and presenting financial and operational data to internal customers of all hierarchy levels
• Experience in combining clinical and business topics
• Proven project management experience in complex, cross-functional environments
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, stakeholder landscapes, and key decision-making processes
• Strong financial acumen, including P&L analysis, business case development, valuation, and financial modelling

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and advance growth opportunities through M&A, JVs, strategic partnerships, and portfolio optimization
• Lead end-to-end execution of M&A, divestment, and JV transactions
• Develop financial analyses, valuations, business cases, and investment recommendations
• Coordinate due diligence processes across legal, tax, finance and operations
• Structure, negotiate, and execute transactions with sellers, buyers, and partners
• Prepare executive-level presentations and investment proposals for senior leadership
