Job summary

Marquise is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support residents in an assisted living or medical facility in Siena, Tuscany. You will assist in basic food preparation, serve meals, maintain dining areas, and ensure safe food handling in line with HACCP and WHMIS guidelines.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability and the ability to multitask. Candidates must have a Food Handler Certificate and experience in hospitality or healthcare dining; strong communication and time-management skills

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Prior dietary aide or hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Able to prepare meals according to instructions and serve to residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic food preparation and serve meals in accordance with therapeutic diets and portion standards.
• Setting, clearing, cleaning, and sanitizing dining spaces.
• Maintain and perform cleaning duties or, as per the posted cleaning schedule for that day.
• Monitor and restock service areas.
• Observe HACCP guidelines to ensure safe food handling / preparation methods.
• Follow WHIMIS and MSDS guidelines using chemicals, cleaning, and sanitizing agents.
• Support with special function catering as delegated
