Human Technopole, Milan, seeks a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and optimize centralized IT systems and cloud-native infrastructure. You will develop CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment, and ensure scalable, secure environments across on-prem and cloud platforms.

You will collaborate with digital development, cybersecurity, and core services teams to enhance automation, reliability, and service quality, reporting to the Core Services Manager.

Competenze

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure automation.
• Proficiency in IaC using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Deep knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong scripting and automation skills in Bash, Python, or Go.
• Problem-solving mindset with focus on scalability, security, and efficiency.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Within this mission, the ICT & Digitisation Department at HT is expanding and seeking professionals with specific expertise in DevOps related tasks.

We are seeking a technically gifted, innovative, and enthusiasticDevOps Engineerto support the activities of the Core Services Team in the Data Centre Facility.

Your mission
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the implementation and continuous improvement of centralized IT systems and cloud-native infrastructure. You will design and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks to enable efficient and reliable software development and deployment processes.

Working in a collaborative team environment, you will support enterprise-grade Kubernetes and cloud platform capabilities, including microservices, virtualization, and container technologies. You will ensure the scalability, security, and high availability of development, testing, and production environments.

The successful candidate will actively support the research community and collaborate closely with digital development, cybersecurity, and core services teams to enhance automation, efficiency, and service reliability.

You will report to the Core Services Manager.

You will enhance your professional skills by:

CI/CD & Automation

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to enable automated testing, integration, and deployment.
• Optimizing build, release, and deployment processes to accelerate development cycles.
• Ensuring seamless integration across development, staging, and production environments.
• Integrating automated security scans, compliance checks, and DevSecOps best practices into CI/CD pipelines.
• Developing and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Automating provisioning, configuration management, scaling, and self-healing mechanisms.
• Implementing and supporting multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures.
• Planning, deploying, configuring, and managing new and existing infrastructure systems.
• Implementing, administering, and maintaining Kubernetes (on-premises and cloud), Docker, and containerized workloads.
• Ensuring the health, scalability, performance, and reliability of Kubernetes, microservices, and related systems.
• Monitoring and optimizing system performance, resource utilization, and latency.

Security, Reliability & Operations

• Collaborating with the Cybersecurity team to enforcing RBAC, secret management, encryption, and security best practices.
• Diagnosing and resolving infrastructure and CI/CD incidents, performing root cause analysis, and implementing preventive measures.
• Ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and operational continuity, including performing emergency maintenance.

Documentation, Governance & Support

• Maintaining up-to-date technical and operational documentation.
• Enforcing DevOps standards, coding practices, and operational guidelines.
• Providing technical guidance, contributing to projects, mentoring junior engineers, and supporting broader DevOps, Linux, and Data Centre operations as needed.

Salary: up to € 50.000,00 depending on the candidate’s seniority.
