Newesis srl, based in Turin, Italy, is seeking a DevOps Engineer with 1-2 years of hands-on experience to automate infrastructure and deployment pipelines across cloud environments. The role is located in Turin with hybrid onboarding and subsequent Smart Working, and offers a salary range of 30,000–35,000 Euro.

You will design automation scripts, manage IaC with Terraform, maintain cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and deploy containerized apps with Kubernetes.

Competenze

• 1-2 years of practical experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role.
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Practical experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP); familiarity with multiple is a strong plus.
• Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Familiarity with ArgoCD or other GitOps tools.
• Experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
• Proficiency in English and Italian (written and spoken) is essential.

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic DevOps Engineer with 1-2 years of practical experience to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in automating infrastructure and deployment pipelines, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and reliability across cloud environments.

Location

Turin, Italy ( Hybrid during six months of onboarding, then Smart Working)

Key Responsibilities

Automation Focus: Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline software development, testing, and deployment processes.

Infrastructure as Code ( IaC ): Implement and manage infrastructure using Terraformacross various cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP).

CloudPlatformManagement: Support and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, and GCP, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-efficiency.

Container Orchestration: Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and scalability.

GitOps Implementation: Utilize ArgoCDfor declarative, Git-centric continuous delivery to Kubernetes clusters.

CI/CD Pipeline Development: Build, maintain, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLabCI/CD, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOpsto enable rapid and reliable software delivery.

Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to identify and implement DevOps best practices.

Monitoring & Logging: Assist in setting up and maintaining monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of our applications and infrastructure.

Troubleshooting: Participate in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and deployment-related issues.

Documentation: Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and tools.

Required Skills and Experience:

1-2 years of practical experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role.

Solid understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies.

Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.

Practical experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP); familiarity with multiple is a strong plus.

Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of networking concepts and management of Linux systems.

Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.

Smart Working Model: After the onboarding period, you will primarily work remotely.
