Human Technopole in Milan seeks an SAP S/4HANA Expert to develop, maintain and optimize the ERP system, ensuring alignment with business processes and user needs.

You will design custom applications, troubleshoot issues, and deliver end-user training in coordination with the HR Training area, reporting to the Head of ICT & Digitisation. Fluent English and strong Italian are essential for cross-department collaboration.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance/Accounting, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, SCM, and SRM, including configuration and user support.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA configuration and in-app customization.
• Strong ERP operations knowledge across financial accounting, procurement, and supply chain.
• Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and SAP S/4HANA applications.
• Excellent English; full professional proficiency in Italian.

Your mission

As SAP S/4HANA Expert you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization’s ERP system to ensure its alignment with business processes. The successful candidate will be involved in designing custom applications, troubleshooting issues, and supporting users across departments to maximize the system’s efficiency and functionality. As a key contributor, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address development needs, resolve operational challenges, and deliver ERP training to end users in coordination with the HR Training area. You will report to the Head of ICT & Digitisation.

• Designing, testing, and debugging software solutions to ensure seamless functionality.
• Collecting and analysing development requirements from various departments to deliver tailored ERP enhancements.
• Maintaining and updating existing applications to remain compatible with business needs and technological advancements.
• Ensuring the smooth operation of the SAP S/4HANA ERP system, critical for supporting administrative and operational processes.
• Troubleshooting and resolving ERP issues, providing timely solutions to minimize disruptions.
• Assisting with system upgrades, maintenance activities, and the implementation of new features or modules.
• Providing support to ERP users, addressing inquiries and offering technical assistance.
• Collaborating with the HR Training team to deliver user training sessions on ERP functionalities, ensuring proper usage and adoption across the organization;
• Working closely with internal stakeholders to identify process improvements and system optimization opportunities.
• Staying informed on updates to SAP S/4HANA and recommend enhancements to leverage new functionalities.
• Ensuring compliance with data integrity and system security standards.

Essential

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance/Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience);
• Minimum 3 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, SCM and SRM, including system configuration and user support;
• In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, including configuration, and in‑app customization;
• Strong understanding of ERP system operations, including financial accounting, procurement, and supply chain modules;
• Experience with testing, troubleshooting and SAP S/4HANA applications;
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken;
• Full professional proficiency in Italian, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field;
• SAP S/4HANA Public/Private Cloud Implementation consultant certification (Financial Accounting, Sourcing and Procurement, System Administration etc);
• Previous experience with a similar role in another Research Institute.

Salary: up to € 50.000,00 depending on the candidate's seniority.
