JINGDONG Logistics in Italy is seeking a Device Maintenance professional to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of our warehouse and operational equipment. You will perform inspections, calibrations, and proactive maintenance across automation devices and IT infrastructure.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, component replacements, and accurate maintenance records. You will collaborate with operations to schedule tasks with minimal disruption, support new equipment

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• 2+ years of device maintenance or field service experience in logistics, manufacturing, or e‑commerce.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems with schematics knowledge.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on diverse devices; diagnose root causes.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and testing equipment; able to use CMMS.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and perform physical tasks as required.

Job Summary**

As a Device Maintenance professional at JD.com, Inc., you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our diverse range of operational devices and equipment. This role involves proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair to minimize downtime and support our robust logistics and e-commerce infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities**

• * Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and calibration of various devices, including but not limited to, warehouse automation equipment, sorting machines, handheld scanners, and IT infrastructure hardware.
• * Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on a wide array of devices, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• * Execute repairs, replacements, and upgrades of faulty components or entire devices, adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
• * Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including service dates, parts used, and issue resolutions.
• * Collaborate with operations teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to business processes.
• * Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and devices.
• * Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on device operation and basic troubleshooting.
• * Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in device maintenance.
• * Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures.

Job Qualifications**

• * High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or technical certification in electronics, mechanical engineering, or a related field preferred.
• * Proven experience (2+ years) in device maintenance, field service, or a similar technical support role, preferably within a logistics, manufacturing, or e-commerce environment.
• * Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including schematics and diagrams.
• * Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and basic software issues for various devices.
• * Familiarity with common diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
• * Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
• * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by operational needs.
• * Basic computer literacy and experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.
