Axiom Technologies Pty Ltd. is seeking a capable IT professional to coordinate desktop support activities across our organization, providing onsite and on-call assistance to end-users to ensure timely and reliable service delivery.

The role covers providing first- and second-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices, installing OSes, handling incidents, and collaborating with IT teams on projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT experience.
• 1+ year in desktop support, helpdesk, or IT role.
• Strong Windows OS, Office 365, and basic networking knowledge.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Zendesk or JIRA.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level desktop, laptop, printer, and mobile support.
• Respond to service requests via ticketing system, phone, or in-person.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain operating systems and software.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Set up new employee workstations and permissions.
• Maintain asset inventory and documentation of IT equipment.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding from a technical perspective.
• Support remote users with VPN and remote desktop.
• Collaborate with IT teams on escalations and projects.
• Follow security protocols, antivirus, patching, and data protection.
