Axiom Technologies Pty Ltd. is seeking a capable IT Desktop Support Specialist to provide onsite and on-call assistance to end-users within the organization’s computing environment.

You will install, upgrade, and maintain Windows, macOS, and Linux systems and software; troubleshoot hardware and peripherals; set up new workstations; assist with onboarding and remote access; and collaborate with IT teams while upholding security and data protection policies.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year in desktop support, helpdesk, or IT technician role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, and basic networking.
• Experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow, Zendesk, or JIRA.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Mansioni

• Provide first- and second-level desktop and device support.
• Respond to service requests via ticketing system, phone, or in-person.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain Windows/macOS/Linux OS and apps.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Set up new employee workstations and access.
• Maintain asset inventory and documentation.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding from a tech perspective.
• Support remote users with VPN and remote desktop.
• Collaborate with IT teams on escalated issues.
• Follow security protocols for antivirus, patching, and data protection.
