Jefferson Wells Italia is seeking a Design Engineer to join the Product Development team in Monza e Brianza. You will design and develop innovative products, supporting the entire lifecycle from concept to validation and industrialization.

The role requires ~3 years of experience in product design, strong CATIA V5 skills, and solid knowledge of FMEA, FEM and Moldflow, plus proficient English. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to continuous improvement.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in mechanical/industrial/plastic engineering or related field.
Approximately 3 years of professional experience in product design or development.
Good command of English (written and spoken).

Mansioni

Design and manage 3D product designs using CAD software, ensuring compliance with internal standards.
Conduct feasibility studies and technical analyses of product performance, manufacturability and reliability.
Apply engineering methodologies and simulation tools (FMEA, FEM, Moldflow) to support development activities.
Prepare and maintain complete technical documentation (drawings, BOMs, specs, work instructions).
Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities with data-driven improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design with manufacturing capabilities and customer expectations.
Contribute to product lifecycle management ensuring ongoing compliance with quality, performance and regulatory standards.
