Caracol, Monza, Italy, is seeking a Design Engineer to support development and industrialization of Additive Manufacturing projects. You will translate customer requirements into feasible LFAM solutions, working with Sales and cross-functional teams to optimize parts for production.

The ideal candidate holds a Mechanical/related degree with 2–4 years in design engineering, strong CAD skills, DfM know-how, and proficiency in English and Italian. Flexible hours and smartworking offered.

Competenze

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in Mechanical Design or Design Engineering in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DfM).
• Excellent CAD knowledge for solid and parametric modeling.
• Good knowledge of polymer and plastic materials.
• Proficiency in English and Italian.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.

Mansioni

• Develop detailed mechanical designs and 3D models for LFAM projects.
• Prepare and manage 2D drawings according to industrial standards.
• Interface with suppliers and manufacturing partners for feasibility.
• Contribute to material and process requirements with internal teams.
• Ensure designs meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to ensure readiness.
