Optimus Search is seeking an Electrical Lead to support the construction and electrical delivery of its Data Centre portfolio across Italy. The role focuses on on-site delivery, coordination with contractors and internal teams, and ensuring compliance with regulations and client specs.

The ideal candidate has a strong Electrical Engineering background, Data Centre experience, and fluency in Italian, with mobility between Rome and Milan and freelance availability for a 12+ month engagement.

Competenze

Experience as electrical engineer/lead on data centre projects.
Solid knowledge of electrical systems and construction activities.
Good understanding of Italian construction regulations.
Experience in complex, technically demanding environments.
Fluent Italian is essential; willingness to work in Rome or Milan.
Freelance/contract availability.

Mansioni

Support the electrical delivery of large-scale Data Centre construction projects.
Oversee electrical works throughout the construction phase.
Ensure works comply with Italian construction regulations, technical requirements and client specifications.
Coordinate with contractors, engineering teams and project stakeholders.
Review technical documentation and electrical installation requirements.
Monitor construction progress, quality and technical compliance.
Support the resolution of electrical and construction-related issues on site.
Work closely with the wider project team to ensure successful project delivery.
