Cumming Group UK & Europe is seeking an Assistant Commercial Manager for our Milan team. You will support the commercial management and cost consultancy delivery on complex data centre projects across Italy and Europe, from feasibility through to close-out, collaborating with senior leaders.

You will develop skills in commercial, contractual and client-facing activities while contributing to project governance, reporting and cost control.

Competenze

• Education: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience: 3-7 years in quantity surveying, cost consultancy, commercial management or related field.
• Accreditation: MRICS, AssocRICS or working towards chartered status preferred.
• Understanding of procurement routes and contract administration principles.
• Familiarity with NEC, JCT or similar forms of contract.
• Experience on complex construction, infrastructure, industrial, MEP or mission-critical projects advantageous.
• Strong numerical/analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Understanding of commercial risk, change management and cost control.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced projects.
• Strong MS Excel and cost-management tool proficiency.

Mansioni

• Support delivery of commercial and cost management services across multiple data centre projects.
• Assist with cost plans, estimates, budgets and benchmarking.
• Support procurement activities including tender prep/analysis and reports.
• Assist in contract administration (NEC/JCT where applicable).
• Review contractor applications, variations and commercial submissions.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts and cashflow updates for stakeholders.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial control processes.
• Participate in client and contractor meetings providing commercial support.
