Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) is hiring a Contract Manager for Data Center projects in Milan. The role involves administering FIDIC Red, Yellow, and Silver Book contracts throughout the lifecycle, supporting procurement, tender evaluations and contract negotiations, and coordinating with legal, design and construction teams.

The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree and 3–5 years of experience in contract management, with strong analytical, negotiation and bilingual English-Italian

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Law or related discipline (3–5 years in Contract Management).
• Strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent Italian with professional English proficiency (C1/C2).

Responsibilities

• Administer FIDIC Red, Yellow and Silver Book contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support procurement, tender evaluations and contract negotiations.
• Review contract documents, technical specs and commercial requirements; prepare notices and correspondence.
• Manage variations, change orders and compensation events; assess time and cost impacts.
• Support Extension of Time assessments and delay analysis; monitor compliance with contractual obligations.
• Maintain contract registers, risk registers and change logs; identify risks and mitigation measures.
• Support claims preparation, evaluation and negotiation; assist dispute avoidance and resolution activities.
• Coordinate with project management, design, legal, commercial and construction teams; prepare contract reports for clients.
