Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) is seeking a Building Operations Engineer in Milano, ITA, to manage building operations across two client sites for the Integrated Facility Management team. You will develop maintenance regimes, oversee planned and unplanned activities, and coordinate with landlords, suppliers, and internal teams.

The role requires a technical diploma or degree, strong problem solving, regulatory knowledge, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in a technical discipline (architect or engineer) is required.
• Experience in maintenance roles is essential.
• Knowledge of statutory/regulatory maintenance requirements is required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities are expected.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and attention to detail are required.

Responsibilities

• Create and follow a planned maintenance regime for client assets.
• Follow up maintenance planned by the landlord and attend to unplanned maintenance.
• Respond to Trouble Ticket requests within SLAs and manage related actions.
• Manage building operations stock and local supplier base for maintenance and projects.
• Track utilities and suggest ideas to reduce environmental impact and costs.
• Coordinate health and safety activities, fire drills, and safety equipment.
• Oversee maintenance manuals and site inspections; support small projects with budgets and plans.
