Arcadis is a leading design, engineering and consultancy firm seeking a senior professional to manage Building Contracts on a major Milan-area data center project. The role requires frequent on-site presence and extensive travel.

You will review progress with contractors, provide contractual guidance, and coordinate claims and closeouts with the project team. Fluency in English and Italian, plus an engineering degree and Fidic knowledge, are essential.

Competenze

• 10+ years of working experience in similar roles and/or international companies.
• Excellent knowledge of English and Italian (B2/C1).
• FIDIC contract knowledge is a must.
• Engineering degree is a strong plus.
• Previous experience in the Data Center sector is a strong plus.
• Ability to travel autonomously is a must.

Mansioni

• Manage the entirety of the Building Contracts.
• Visit the site regularly to review progress and quality with the Contractor.
• Provide contractual support and advice on potential change orders, cost impacts, risks, etc.
• Advise on Client liability regarding any claims from the Contractor.
• Discuss the adjusted contract sum with the Contractor and obtain client authorization.
• Manage and track closeout of claims with the project team and report on losses and expenses.
• Advise on extensions of time and analyse contractor applications.
• Prepare documentation to support proceedings (adjudication, mediation, arbitration, litigation).
• Oversee document management accessible to all stakeholders.
• Report activity related to role and discipline and attend weekly/monthly meetings.
