Job summary

Jumeirah Capri Palace in Italy is seeking a seasoned Reservations Manager to lead the Reservations function and drive KPI performance. The role requires close collaboration with hotel reservations teams to optimize revenue and efficiency, while maintaining service excellence.

The ideal candidate has 6-8 years in reservations, a hotel management degree, fluency in Italian and English, and strong knowledge of PMS systems. Advance planning and staff development are key components of the position.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience as Reservations Manager or similar role in hospitality.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management from a recognized university.
• Proficient in Italian and fluent in English; a third language is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of PMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of reservations service per Central Reservations KPI objectives.
• Collaborate with hotel reservation teams to maximize revenue and reduce inefficiencies.
• Attend reservations meetings and share insights on performance and trends.
• Monitor automated reservation services for capacity and service quality; resolve issues.

About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manager Food & Beverage to join Jumeirah Capri Palace.

The main duties and responsibilities include:

• Oversee the delivery of internal and external service, quality, and commercial performances as per Central Reservations KPI objectives.
• Work closely with hotel reservation teams to maximize revenue opportunities and reduce operational inefficiencies.
• Attend meetings related to reservations and share relevant insights on performance and trends.
• Monitor automated reservation services to ensure optimal capacity and resolve any service degradation.
• Monitor and follow up on guest complaints, ensuring relevant solutions are provided by coordinating with other departments.
• Ensure training of new colleagues in the department and hotels is planned and scheduled in advance.
• Oversee all aspects of people management, including development, target setting, reviews, and performance.
• Complete monthly KPI reporting to the Director of Reservations and Director of Revenue for the hotel.
• Act as a point of contact for reservations with external partners, managing and maintaining relationships.
• Act in the absence of the Director of Reservations and perform other duties as required by management.
• 6 - 8 years of e xperience as Reservations Manager or similar role in hospitality
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel management from an accredited and renowned University
• Proficient in Italian and fluent in English, a third language would be an added advantage
• Excellent knowledge of PMS Systems.
