Deel is seeking a Country Finance Manager for Lecce, Puglia, Italy to lead all financial activities within the country, ensuring compliant books and accurate reporting in a global environment.

You will drive improvements in month-end close, payroll oversight, and tax reporting, working with a distributed payroll ecosystem to support Deel's international expansion.

Competenze

• ACCA/CPA or local equivalent is mandatory.
• Minimum of 5+ years as an accountant in high-tech companies.
• Proficiency in payroll ERP systems; Netsuite experience is advantageous.
• Experience in a global environment with diverse financial regulations.
• Excellent Excel and office skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Fluency in English; local languages beneficial.
• Self-motivated, autonomous, detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Mansioni

• Oversee and develop all financial activities in the country, including accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting with improvements to period end closing focus.
• Prepare and manage ledger entries, payroll, tax benefits, and contributions reports for regulatory bodies such as social security tax authorities, insurance, pension companies, and others.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including intercompany banking, customers, vendors, and accruals, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor day-to-day transactions, maintain up-to-date books, and prepare comprehensive financial and administrative reports as required.
• Ensure timely and accurate submissions to tax authorities (VAT, CIT, Social Security & others).
• Ensure accuracy in payroll calculations made by our local Payroll Manager, oversee payroll software selection and integration, and address any issues related to payroll information and reporting.
