TMC, an international high-tech consultancy, seeks a Control Systems Engineer to design and validate control algorithms for electric and hybrid vehicles. You will use MATLAB/Simulink to model and test strategies and consider how components interact to optimize overall vehicle performance.

The role focuses on system-level understanding, automotive architectures, and teamwork within multidisciplinary teams. A permanent contract is offered with competitive compensation.

Competenze

• Master’s or PhD in Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with model-based design tools (MATLAB/Simulink).
• Understanding of electric vehicle architectures and basic control strategies.
• Familiarity with CAN, LIN, Ethernet communications.

About This Vacancy

• Control Systems Development: Design and implement control algorithms for electric and hybrid vehicles, focusing on performance, efficiency, and reliability.
• Model-Based Design: Use tools such as MATLAB and Simulink to model, simulate, and validate control strategies, supporting embedded software development.
• Component Interaction: Develop control functions with awareness of their interaction within the vehicle environment.
• Vehicle-Level Understanding: Gain exposure to overall vehicle behavior, contributing to the optimization of control functions and system performance.

What We Expect From You

• Master’s or PhD in Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with model-based design tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink)
• Understanding of electric vehicle architectures and basic control strategies
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet)

What You Can Expect From Us

The position offers a permanent employment contract, and the base Gross Annual Salary – RAL will be no less than €30.000, in line with the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for Commerce – Tertiary, Distribution and Services. TMC is committed to offering a competitive compensation package.

At the end of the recruitment process, after assessing the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, the company may offer a final gross annual salary higher than the amount stated above. In line with our business model, the final compensation package also includes a project profit-sharing component, an individual annual learning and development budget of €4,000 net, and an annual welfare allowance. Further details will be provided during the recruitment process, in accordance with the company's applicable policies.
