Meet & Greet is offering a Junior Travel Designer internship in our Rome office, designed for individuals at the start of their careers with comprehensive training and mentoring.

The role may focus on FIT or Group Travel, requires fluent English and a passion for travel; previous experience is not required and the internship aims to lead to a permanent position.

Meet & Greet is looking for a Junior Travel Designer to join our Rome office through a structured internship program.

We are seeking enthusiastic, curious, and motivated individuals who are passionate about Italy and eager to build a long-term career in the travel industry. This opportunity is designed for people at the beginning of their professional journey: previous experience is not required, as we provide comprehensive training and ongoing mentoring to help you become a successful Travel Designer.

The role may focus on either FIT (individual travel) or Group Travel, depending on your profile and the needs of the business.

What You Will Do – THE ROLE

• Assist in designing tailor-made travel experiences throughout Italy.
• Support the planning and coordination of both individual and group travel itineraries.
• Prepare and manage travel documentation related to customer itineraries.
• Handle bookings and reservations with suppliers.
• Issue train tickets and integrate them into complete travel packages.
• Provide operational support to ensure seamless travel experiences.
• Assist clients before and during their trips, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Learn and use industry-specific booking systems and travel management tools.

Preferred Skills and Requirements

• A genuine passion for travel, tourism, and Italy.
• Excellent knowledge of Italian geography, destinations, and cultural heritage.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written (required).
• Spanish language skills are highly appreciated.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service mindset with attention to detail.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite); knowledge of Canva is a plus.
• Proactive attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team.

Previous Experience

Previous experience is not required. However, any experience in the tourism or hospitality industry—such as internships, seasonal jobs, travel agencies, hotels, tour operators, customer service, or other tourism-related roles—will be considered an advantage.
