Music & Lights, a global lighting solutions provider, offers an internship in visual design within the marketing team at its Minturno HQ. The program follows a structured 3+3 month training path designed to develop graphic and visual skills through hands-on projects and progressive responsibilities.

You will work with the lead designer on graphics, video and web tasks, with growth potential leading to a junior visual designer role.

This internship is designed as a first step into visual design and communication within a technology-driven, international company, even without previous experience. You will help build the brand's image on every front: digital, print, events and product launches.

About the role

You will complete an internship at our HQ in Minturno (LT), within the marketing team, following a structured 6-month training path (3 + 3). You will work alongside the lead designer producing visual content: mainly graphics and images, with progressive involvement in video and web depending on your aptitude and growth. The goal is not graphics for its own sake, but communication: strengthening how the brand is perceived and recognised across every channel. It is an entry path designed for growth, with progressively increasing responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside the lead designer to conceive and produce graphic content for the brand's various communication channels (campaigns, social media, promotional materials, web) using the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), always in service of a message and of brand recognition.
• Support the preparation of print-ready files: trade show materials, promotional items and packaging.
• Contribute to shooting and editing video and photographic content for social media, the website and campaigns, handling editing and basic colour work under the guidance of more experienced colleagues.
• Support the creation and updating of web pages and landing pages for product launches and campaigns.
• Work alongside the team on the production of live streams and events, contributing to the preparation of visual assets.
• Learn to use generative AI as a tool supporting a solid design method, not as a replacement for design skills.
• Help maintain visual consistency and brand identity across all touchpoints.

Requirements

• Strong motivation to learn and interest in visual design, communication and the brand and its industry.
• Basic knowledge of the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and the drive to build a solid design method.
• An eye for graphics as a communication and brand tool, not as an end in itself.
• Knowledge of English (B1 level), useful for content and industry terminology.
• Basic IT skills: Microsoft Office and email, with confidence in the digital environment.
• No previous experience in the role is required: any prior experience, even brief, in graphics, video or visual communication - including academic or personal projects - is welcome.

Preferred skills

• Basics of photography, video shooting and editing.
• Use of generative AI as a tool supporting (not replacing) design skills.
• Basics of HTML and familiarity with web design.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles.
• First knowledge of 3D modelling and rendering (Blender preferred).
• Interest in digital marketing and SEO.

Contract and compensation

• Contract: 6-month internship, structured as a 3 + 3 month training path.
• Monthly allowance: €800 per month for the first 3 months, €1,000 per month for the following 3 months.
• Working arrangement: full time, at our HQ in Minturno (LT), with a dedicated company tutor.
• Benefits: company canteen and company gym.

The internship is designed to lead to employment under an apprendistato professionalizzante (professional apprenticeship) contract, a path leading to the full role of Visual Designer Jr.
